in unity, individuality
Founded on May 5, 1961 the women of Gamma Chi Delta immediately distinguished themselves as a distinct club. Our purpose is to unite, improve, create, and attain to make it possible to influence, grow, and not exclude, but to honor.
Our motto is "in unitas, individualis" or "in unity, individuality." Each member is encouraged to develop her own interests and character while representing the club.
Our symbol, the daisy, reflects our motto through the distinct, individual petals unified in the center. Our colors are green and white.
Our crest includes the key representing the key to the future, the torch as the light of education, and the scroll symbolizing the charter members and the founding of our club.
